Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") is part of our Terms of Service and should be read alongside them: Terms of Service. When you use the AI-powered services of Easysync360 (PTY) LTD ("AI Products"), you warrant you will comply with this document, our Legal Terms, and all applicable AI laws. Using our AI Products means you agree to engage lawfully, ethically, and responsibly. If you do not agree, refrain from using our Services.

This Policy applies to: (a) uses of our Services; (b) all Content; (c) any Contribution you make (uploads, posts, reviews, chat, etc.); and (d) responsible implementation and management of AI Products.

Who we are

Easysync360 (PTY) LTD ("Company", "we", "us", "our") is registered in South Africa at Randburg, Johannesburg, Gauteng 2196. We operate https://www.easysync360.com (the "Site"), the EasySync360 App, and related Services.

Use of the Services

You warrant you will comply with this Policy and applicable laws. You may NOT:

  • Systematically retrieve data or content to build a collection, database, or directory without written permission.
  • Make unauthorised use, including collecting usernames or emails for spam, or creating accounts by automated means or false pretences.
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features.
  • Make unauthorised use of framing of, or linking to, the Services.
  • Trick, defraud, or mislead us or other users (for example, phishing passwords).
  • Misuse the Services or our support, or submit false abuse reports.
  • Engage in automated use of the system, such as scripts, data mining, robots, or scrapers.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or overburden the Services or connected networks.
  • Impersonate another user or person, or use another user's username.
  • Use information obtained from the Services to harass, abuse, or harm anyone.
  • Use the Services to compete with us or for any revenue-generating or commercial enterprise.
  • Decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer the software, except as permitted by applicable law.
  • Bypass any measures designed to restrict access.
  • Harass, annoy, intimidate, or threaten our staff or agents.
  • Delete copyright or other proprietary-rights notices from any Content.
  • Copy or adapt the Services' software, including Flash, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, or other code.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, Trojan horses, spam, or material that disrupts the Services.
  • Upload passive or active information-collection mechanisms such as gifs, 1x1 pixels, web bugs, cookies, or spyware.
  • Launch or distribute automated systems such as spiders, robots, scrapers, or offline readers beyond standard search-engine or browser use.
  • Disparage, tarnish, or otherwise harm us or the Services.
  • Use the Services in a manner inconsistent with applicable laws.
  • Use a buying or purchasing agent to make purchases.
  • Sell or otherwise transfer your profile.
  • Upload malware, viruses, or ransomware, or harmful code; attempt unauthorised access to any account, system, network, or data; scrape, copy, or harvest data with automated tools without authorisation; use the Services for fraudulent, illegal, or deceptive activity; impersonate others; or interfere with the Services' security, integrity, or performance.

Subscriptions

If you subscribe, then except as expressly permitted you may NOT: modify, copy, redistribute, publish, display, or retransmit any portion of the Services without our prior written consent; reconstruct or discover any source code or algorithms; provide the Services to a third party; intercept data not intended for you; or damage, reveal, or alter another user's data, or any related hardware, software, or information. This reiterates that there must be no malware, no unauthorised access, no unlawful or fraudulent use, and no unauthorised automated scraping.

AI Products

When using our AI Products, you warrant you will NOT:

  • Deploy subliminal, manipulative, or deceptive AI techniques that distort behaviour and impair informed decision-making, causing significant harm.
  • Exploit vulnerabilities such as age, disability, or socio-economic circumstances to distort behaviour or decisions in a way that causes significant harm.
  • Use AI biometric categorization to infer sensitive attributes (such as race, political opinions, union membership, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, or sexual orientation) except in limited lawful cases.
  • Implement AI social-scoring systems that cause harm, discrimination, or unfair treatment.
  • Assess the risk of criminal offending based solely on profiling or personality traits, except in narrowly defined, legally safeguarded cases.
  • Compile facial-recognition databases by untargeted scraping of facial images, unless legally compliant and narrowly defined.
  • Use AI to infer emotions in sensitive environments such as workplaces or schools where it could cause discrimination, unfair treatment, or privacy violations.
  • Engage in real-time remote biometric identification in public for law enforcement, except with strong legal justification and oversight.

Artificial intelligence

We are committed to ethical AI grounded in fairness, transparency, and accountability. This Policy governs the development, deployment, and use of all AI features, and applies to all stakeholders, including employees, vendors, and partners.

Misuse may include privacy violations, data manipulation, ignoring ethical guidelines, introducing bias or unfair treatment, improper data handling, or compromising privacy or security. Depending on severity and history, consequences may include warnings, temporary suspension, termination of access, legal action, and public disclosure.

As part of our commitment to responsible AI, we will repair harm, correct biased outcomes, add safeguards, and regularly review and update this Policy as technology and regulations evolve.

Contributions

A "Contribution" is any data, information, software, text, code, media, or messages you post, upload, or submit on or through the Services, or provide to us. We may (but need not) review or moderate Contributions, and we exclude liability for users' breaches. You warrant that you own or have the rights and consents to your Contributions; that they comply with the law and are original and true; that they do not infringe third-party intellectual-property or moral rights; and that you have the consent of any identifiable persons.

You will NOT post a Contribution that: breaches the law, this Policy, or our Legal Terms, or promotes fraud or illegal activity; is defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful, intimidating, bullying, abusive, or threatening; is false, inaccurate, or misleading; includes child sexual abuse material or exploits minors; solicits personal information from anyone under 18; promotes violence or terrorism; is sexually explicit or otherwise objectionable; is discriminatory; bullies or humiliates; infringes intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights; is deceitful or misrepresents your identity; or is unsolicited advertising, spam, or part of a pyramid scheme.

Reporting a breach of this Policy

We may (but need not) review or moderate Contributions, and we exclude liability for users' breaches. To report a breach, an intellectual-property infringement, or an AI-interaction concern, email Support@easysync360.com and include context, the nature of the concern, and any screenshots or documentation. We reasonably determine whether something breaches this Policy.

Consequences of breaching this Policy

Depending on severity and history, we may issue a warning and/or remove the infringing Contribution. For serious or repeated breaches, we may suspend or terminate your access and disable your account. We may notify law enforcement or pursue legal proceedings where there is a genuine risk to an individual or to public safety. We exclude liability for actions taken in response to breaches.

Complaints and removal of legitimate content

If your Content or Contribution was mistakenly removed or blocked, contact us and we will promptly review it (it may stay down during the review). EasySync360 may review, investigate, restrict, suspend, or remove content that violates this Policy, the law, intellectual-property or privacy rights, or the Services' security or integrity. Malicious, fraudulent, or harmful content may be removed without notice, and repeated violations may lead to suspension or permanent termination.

Disclaimer

We are under no obligation to monitor user activity and disclaim responsibility for misuse. We have no responsibility for, and no obligation to monitor or editorially control, user Content or Contributions. On becoming aware of a violation we may remove content, block your account, and report it to the police or regulators. We disclaim obligations to any person who has not entered into an agreement with us for the Services.
