This Cookie Policy explains how Easysync360 (PTY) LTD ("Company", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit https://www.easysync360.com ("Website"). In some cases we may use cookies to collect personal information, or information that becomes personal when combined with other information.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files placed on your device when you visit a website, used to make websites work (or work more efficiently) and to provide reporting. First-party cookies are set by the website owner (Easysync360); third-party cookies are set by other parties to enable features like advertising, interactive content, and analytics, and can recognize your device across sites.
2. Why do we use cookies?
We use cookies and browser storage for authentication, language preferences, referrals and interface settings. Optional public website analytics measures page visits and time on page only after you accept. Signed-in workspace analytics is separate and continues to use its existing persistent browser identifier.
3. How can I control cookies?
Use Cookie preferences in the website footer to accept or reject optional public analytics, change your choice or withdraw consent later. Accept and Reject are equally available. No choice, rejection or an expired choice means public analytics is off. We remember your choice for 180 days; it contains no visitor identifier. Withdrawing stops further public measurement and clears the current tab's analytics session, without deleting earlier records. Sign-in and essential features do not depend on this choice.
The website and signed-in workspace use these cookies and storage:
- NEXT_LOCALE: language preference, up to one year. ref_code: referral attribution, up to 30 days. tenant_token and es360_remember: sign-in session and remember-me preference, expiring with the session. es360.public-analytics.consent.v1: local-storage choice, version and expiry, for 180 days, without a visitor identifier. es360.public-analytics.session.v1: accepted public analytics only; a random tab-scoped session identifier and last-activity time in session storage, expiring after 30 minutes of inactivity. es360.sid: existing persistent local-storage identifier for signed-in workspace analytics, with no automatic browser expiry; the public choice does not read or remove this legacy identifier.
4. How can I control cookies on my browser?
You can also block or remove cookies and site storage in your browser. Removing the public consent choice returns public analytics to off until you accept again. Blocking essential storage can affect sign-in or other functions. Browser controls and the public choice do not delete earlier server records; signed-in workspace analytics remains separate.
5. What about other tracking technologies, like web beacons?
After acceptance, public pageview and time-on-page requests record redacted page paths, referrer origins, a tab-scoped session identifier, broad browser/device categories and country. New public analytics records do not store raw IP addresses, raw user-agent strings, operating system, region or city. Separate workspace analytics and infrastructure/security logs may contain request metadata, and historical records remain. Some invoice-reminder emails include an image that records its first load; your email client's image settings affect this.
6. What other browser storage is used?
Workspace preferences and temporary payment or interface state may use browser storage. If you used an earlier version of Ask EasySync, recent conversation history may have been stored in your browser and may remain until cleared. Clearing browser data does not delete information previously sent to service providers. Clear site data only after preserving information you need.
7. What about third-party services?
External sites, sign-in providers and checkout services may use their own cookies and storage under their privacy notices. Review those notices when you use the relevant service.
8. How often will you update this Cookie Policy?
We may update it to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for operational/legal/regulatory reasons. The date at the top indicates the last update.
